How we protect your information
Information we store
Selyune stores the information required to provide the service: your account email, profile fields, birth details, calculated charts, readings, connections, purchases, notification choices, and essential product analytics. A Telegram identifier is stored only after you connect Telegram.
Account information
Email, profile preferences, authentication records, and service settings.
Astrology information
Birth details, deterministic chart facts, saved readings, and connections.
Sensitive birth data
Production birth data is encrypted at the application layer with AES-256-GCM. Public shares never include a full birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, raw Telegram data, or private profile details.
How we use data
We use your data to calculate charts, render requested interpretations, maintain your account and entitlements, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and provide support. When AI rendering is enabled, the provider receives calculated astrology facts and only the limited context needed for the reading; the model is never asked to calculate placements.
Payments and providers
Website purchases are processed in US dollars through Creem hosted checkout. Selyune does not receive or store your full card number. We share only the account, product, and transaction information needed to complete the purchase, issue receipts, manage access, prevent fraud, and handle refunds. For Telegram Stars purchases, Telegram processes the payment. Selyune stores the Telegram user identifier, invoice and transaction identifiers, Stars amount, subscription paid-through and renewal state, and the Telegram payment charge identifier needed for support, reconciliation, cancellation, and refunds. Raw Telegram initData and payment credentials are not sent to analytics.
Your choices
You can export your account data, change notification preferences, cancel renewal, or delete your account from Settings. Required billing records are anonymized and retained only where necessary for support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
